Browsing without an account
You can look up any set, see every value, and use the buy-below calculator without telling us anything. No account, no tracking profile, no advertising cookies.
Your settings
Fee percentages, shipping cost, target return and your light or dark preference are stored in your own browser using local storage. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
If you create an account
We store only what the service needs:
- Your email address — how you sign in, and where alerts go
- A hashed password — never the password itself
- Your watchlist — which set numbers you saved
- Alert preferences — which notifications you asked for
Your password is never stored in a readable form. It is hashed — put through a one-way function — before it is written down, so nobody here can read it, and a stolen database would not reveal it. Authentication is handled by Supabase, our database provider, acting on our behalf.
When you create an account we email a six-digit code to confirm the address is yours. That code is single-use and expires within the hour.
Your address is used for sign-in codes and for alerts you switch on. Nothing else. It is never sold, rented or shared, and every alert carries an unsubscribe link.
Analytics
We count page views in aggregate to see which sets people look up. No individual profiles, no cross-site tracking, no advertising networks.
Affiliate links
Outbound links to retailers may be affiliate links. When you follow one, that retailer may set their own cookies under their own privacy policy. We receive only anonymous, aggregated commission reporting — never a record of who bought what.
Deleting your data
Email hello@brickmargin.com from your account address and we'll delete the account, your watchlist and your preferences. No forms, no retention period.
